I recently went to Belfast, the main city in Northern Ireland. The first thing I saw there, at a grocery store, where we went to buy some lamb for some sandwiches, was a man with pockmarks on his face. Later I learned that the pockmarks were caused by a nail bomb.

Drank this wine in Burgundy. The way they make Pinot Noir in the old world is way different, and much better than the hit you over the head new world wines. It was like being in heaven, as usually you have to pay a premium for even the lowest end of this stuff.
